Part 4 - Numeric Ratings

Introduction:
This report generates compatibility scores based on the energy interaction between two birth charts. The scores give the user a tool to gauge the compatibility potential in any relationship. The report provides scores on basic compatibility, compatibility levels for each person and the overall compatibility indicated for the relationship. These numbers give a good indication of the relationship's long-term chances for success. In addition, each of twelve different relationship aspects (intimacy, friendship, emotions, etc.) are rated on both individual and combined levels. These scores help the user to pinpoint which aspects of a relationship will be strongest or weakest.

It should be remembered that the rating scores are an indication of chemistry only, not necessarily the level of satisfaction one may experience in a relationship. No matter how much chemistry exists between two people, one or both of the parties may do things to ruin the feelings of harmony which initially existed. Consequently, high compatibility scores are not a guarantee of happiness; low scores do not mean that a relationship is doomed to failure. Where chemistry is apparently lacking, a relationship may survive, even thrive, in an environment where both parties demonstrate mutual consideration and respect. That being said, the following scores should be used to indicate of the level of personal chemistry, electricity or magnetism which may exist in a relationship.

How to Evaluate the the Ratings

Basically, a score of 5.00 and above indicates compatibility; a score of 4.99 and below indicates incompatibility. Here's how to view the numbers.

9.00 to 10.00	— Highly Compatible
7.00 to 8.99	— Very Compatible
5.00 to 6.99	— Fairly Compatible
3.00 to 4.99	— Fairly Incompatible
1.00 to 2.99	— Very Incompatible
0.00 to 0.99	— Highly Incompatible

Preliminary Results

Basic Compatibility. This score is the result of the interaction of both person's Sun, Moon and Ascendant positions. These planets are the strongest influences in a person's chart, and they form the basis for rating compatibility at a very basic level. This score is provided so that users may know how their basic personalities blend together. A high score here indicates stability, a level of harmony which is not easily swayed by changing conditions, by differing interests/values or by time itself. A low score indicates instability. Clearly, two people may come together for any number of reasons, but it their core personalities do not blend well, the relationship can be easily threatened by external influences.

Basically compatibility can be viewed as the foundation of the relationship. This score is given separately from the individual area scores listed below because of its importance and should be given about 50% consideration in determining overall compatibility.

Individual Area Results

The following scores rate how a person is or how a person behaves in the context of the relationship. They do not necessarily indicate the personality traits of each person as an individual. A person, for example, who does not consider himself very emotional can still receive a high score in "emotions." This means that the other person in the relationship evokes in him feelings of caring and sentiment beyond what he would normally be capable of. In a sense, the individual scores represent how each person is affected by the other.

1. Romance, sense of adventure, fun-loving, love of children. A high score indicates the other person helps to bring you out of yourself, helps you to be active, get involved, increases you interest in child rearing. A low score means the other person makes you shy from normal interests, is not enthused by what excites you.

2. Emotions, caring, sentiment, nostalgia, affection. A high score indicates the other person provides a comfortable environment in which to express your feelings. A low score means the other person inhibits your emotional expression, does not encourage your style of affection.

3. Communication, verbal communication, intellectual interests, ideas. High score: the other person stimulates you intellectually, engages in conversation, acts as a sounding board for your ideas. Low score: the other person may not share interests, conversations end in arguments.

4. Companionship, partnership, teamwork, A high score means you like to do things with the other person, you want to spend quality time together. A low score indicates your partnering skills may be stifled by the other person.

5. Individuality, sense of self, identity, assertiveness. A high score indicates your partner encourages you to be who you are, gives you freedom to seek your own identity. A low score means your individuality could be stifled.

6. Sense of Humor, attitudes, beliefs. High score: the other person makes you laugh, is open to your mindset, belief system, approach to life. Low score: the other person may not share your sense of humor, may not agree with your views, may not think as you do.

7. Work Interests, organization skills, role in the workplace, service. High score: your partner shares your work interests, may even work at the same establishment, will agree with how you organize your work or home environment. Low score: partner may work in area or industry unrelated to your own, may try to control certain aspects or your environment.

8. Friendship, friends, hobbies, goals. High score: your partner is also a friend, accepts your friends, may share your hobbies or long-term goals. Low score: your partner thinks on a level other than your own, does not accept your friends, doesn't share hobbies, doesn't agree with long-term goals.

9. Spirituality, dreams, creative goals. High score: your partner inspires you to fulfill your dreams, gives you a 'dreamy' feeling or provides a fantasy environment, encourages you to fulfill your spiritual goals. Low score: your partner makes you feel pessimistic about fulfilling your dreams, makes you feel 'grounded.' Creative conflicts.

10. Passion/Intimacy. High score: the other person evokes passion/strong sexual feelings. Low score: the other person does not evoke passion or may not be interested in the same type of intimacy.

11. Long-term Potential. High score: your partner is in possession of qualities or personalty traits you yearn for yourself, inspires you to advance along your true path of personal development. Low score: your partner draws you into themes from the past which no longer interest you, stifles your personal development.

12. Past Life Connection. High score: high probability that your present relationship is a carryover from another lifetime. Partner having the higher score will feel the connection most. Low score: present relationship is probably not a carryover from another lifetime.
