Tired of missing out on accurate astrological predictions because you don't know your correct time of birth? An astrological technique known as birth chart rectification is the answer. You need chart rectification if:

In a sense, chart rectification is the "reverse engineering" of an individual's life events to arrive at the correct chart that would have brought those events about.

If you wish to have regular astrology readings done, or even if you want a once-in-a-lifetime reading, you'll want it to be as accurate as possible. If you don't know your birth time to within an hour, and there is no other way to discover it, then a chart rectification is essential. A rectified birth chart can be used as the basis for reaping the benefits of all types of astrological charting.

How Chart Rectification Is Done
Chart rectification can be done in the following ways:

1. Chart Testing. Using this technique, an astrologer tests a group of possible charts with a client's life events to arrive at the chart which best fits those events.

2. Progressions and Transits. One of the best known rules of astrological prediction is that major events in a person's live very often occur when significant planets progress or transit to the "angles" of the chart: the Ascendant, Midheaven, Descendant and Nadir. Using this technique, an astrologer starts with an event, finds the planet that is most associated with that type of event, and determines the planet's progressed or transiting position at that time. This position is very often one of the angles.

3. Character Traits/Physical Features. This method is more observational and intuitive. Drawing on past experience, the astrologer makes a determination based on the client's personality traits and physical characteristics, especially facial features. Since certain attributes are known to be associated with certain zodiac signs, the astrologer can often make an educated guess as to the client's Ascendant.

During a chart rectification session, an astrologer may employ one or all of the above methods.

Examples would be: birth of a child, marriage, deaths of significant people in your life, major moves or relocations, career changes, accidents, etc. You may supply 20 events or more. If an exact date is not possible, try to narrow your time estimate to the year and month in which the event occurred.
